Custom Feather Flags

Manufactured in the UK, our 115gsm knitted polyester promotional feather flags can be digitally printed in full colour (dye sublimation) with any graphics (including text, logos and/or photos) of your choosing. To prevent colour fading/runs and enable you to machine-wash (30 degrees) your flag if necessary, the print is heat set.

Detailed information on graphics size/erected height may be obtained within specific product guidelines.

Available Options

Single-sided feather flags have a 90 percent show-through, meaning our imagery may be seen mirrored on the reverse. If you prefer your graphics to be seen correctly from both sides, we also offer double-sided printing options.

Custom printed feather flags may be purchased in complete kits including a single-sided banner, strong poles (fiberglass), a ground stake and a stylish Oxford carry bag or as stand-alone, flag-only products.

We also offer a range of alternative bases and brackets, as well as a choice of flag shapes including angled, concave and crest; rectangle, sail and teardrop shapes.

Q: What are feather flags made of?

A: Printed feather flags are put together using several key components, including a frame, a base and the flag itself. Our feather flags are made with 115gsm knitted Polyester and digitally printed in full colour with any graphics, photos, text or logos of your choosing. The frame of the flag is made of strong fiberglass material, with a range of base options available. These include spikes, water fillable bases and folding X bases.

Q: How to assemble feather flags?

A: Each flag type is easy to assemble, regardless of shape or size. The frame is put together in a similar way to a fishing rod, with different sections that slot together with ease. This makes it easy to transport the feather flag from one place to another without too much fuss. This also helps to save space when storing your flag.

Q: What flag design/base is most suitable for my flag?

A: It completely depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are looking to promote your brand with eye-catching graphics at an event of some kind, you might want to consider size in relation to where the event is being held. Your design should be plain and simple to grab people’s attention, considering bold/bright and contrasting colours to stand out from the crowd. Each flag design should be tailored depending on where it will be positioned and what your goals are.

The most suitable base depends on the surface type. For soft grass, you might want to consider a spiked base, while water fillable based are available for hard surfaces outdoors where wind might be an issue. If weather is no issue as you intend to use your flags inside, a folding X base might be the best option.

Q: Where can I buy feather flags?

A: You can buy custom printed feather flags online from UK Flag Company; one of the leading choices among people looking for ‘feather flags UK’ and ‘feather flag banners’ online.

Q: How long will my feather flag last for?

A: The lifespan of your promotional feather flag will be dictated by a range of factors, including; the weather, environment, materials. Flags that are well looked after will last much longer than those that aren’t. There is no set amount of time for how long your flag will last for, though the lifespan can surely be prolonged if you treat it with care an attention. Indoor flags will generally last longer than outdoor feather flags because they don’t have the weather and other external factors to contend with.

If you want to take care of your flag, think about weather conditions and the impact it could have on your flag. High winds can result in tears and rips, so you should take extra care not to leave your flag out when it is too windy. Avoid rain and snow as well, as the extra weight of the water can damage the flag.

Q: Can you do feather flags with next day delivery?

A: Same-day or next-day deliveries can be arranged if you require your item quickly. When you make your order online, click ‘Need it quick’ on the product page for a faster dispatch. Otherwise, all UK mainland deliveries will be made within one working day.

Q: Can you print small or mini feather flags?

A: Our feather flag sizes range from 2.8m to 5.6m, depending on your requirements. If you are looking for something more bespoke, give us a call and we will do our best to cater to your needs.
